You love flan right!? The traditional way of cooking takes about 60-90 minutes--bain Marie or Maria bath. Well, if you put it in a pressure cooker instead of on the stove top and covered, it will be ready in no more than 30 minutes! Place your flan pan inside the pressure cooker with about 2 inches of water. Make sure the water does not reach the top of the pan. Cook on high allowing pressure to establish. Once you've heard it hissing, allow for ten minutes and then bring heat down to low for about another 10 minutes. Allow all the pressure to be released before opening the top. Pressure cooking is not for everyone. It can be dangerous! Just a friendly note!
