Ingrédients :

Ingredients for PICKLE RECIPE :

-39 pickling cucumbers, sliced thinly
-5 large onions, sliced thinly
-3/4 cup coarse pickling salt
-5 cups cider vinegar
-5 cups sugar
-2 tablespoons mustard seed
-2 tablespoons celery seed
-1/2 teaspoon fresh ground clove

Exécution :

PICKLE RECIPE, instructions :

Layer cucumbers and onions in a large bowl (or crock) sprinkle salt in with layers, and let sit for 3 hours.

Drain off as much liquid as possible.

Prepare Jars, lids, and canner.

In a stainless steel pot mix other ingredients and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. After liquid reaches a boil add cucumbers and onions and bring back to a boil.

Pack in jars as per video instructions, and properly process.
