Ingredients for BRITTANY PANCAKES :
500g wheat flour
250g granulated sugar
1 vanilla sugar pack
a salt pinch
4 eggs
20 cl of fresh thick cream (or 50 gr melted butter)
1,5 l half-skimmed milk
Exécution :
BRITTANY PANCAKES, instructions :
Put the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, eggs and cream into a bowl.
Mix all ingredients together until you have a smooth and thick batter.
Gradually add the milk until you have a liquid batter.
Cover and leave to stand from 2 hours to a night.
Place a small cup of batter on a hot, greased griddle and spread it out with a scraper
Cook the pancake for a couple of minutes until golden brown, turn the pancake over, cook for a further minute
Butter and serve with chocolate, sugar, jam or honey...
Check out the savoury pancakes too, it's in French (crêpes au blé noir) but it's pretty close the the sweet ones and with the video, it's child-play !
